June 2025

Admissions & Awareness

Admission Help Desk — 1 June to 30 June 2025

The admission process commenced with an Admission Help Desk. Faculty members guided prospective students regarding admission procedures, eligibility criteria, counselling schedules, documentation requirements, and career opportunities in teacher education.

B.Ed. Entrance Test Coaching Classes

Special guidance sessions were organized to support aspiring teacher trainees for the entrance examination.

World Environment Day — 5 June 2025

The college celebrated World Environment Day with an awareness lecture, plantation drive, poster displays, and discussions on environmental protection, climate action, sustainable living, and preservation of natural resources.

International Yoga Day — 21 June 2025

A special yoga session was conducted to promote physical fitness, mental well-being, concentration, flexibility, stress reduction, and holistic health among students and staff members.

Environment & Culture

Van Mahotsav — 2 July 2025

Students, faculty members, and staff participated in a plantation drive to promote ecological awareness, tree plantation, biodiversity conservation, and environmental responsibility.

World Population Day — 11 July 2025

Informative talks and discussions were organized on population growth, family welfare, resource management, sustainable development, and national progress.

Teej Celebration — 31 July 2025

The festival of Teej was celebrated with colourful traditional attire, folk songs, dances, mehndi competitions, and cultural performances reflecting the rich traditions of Punjab.

Academic Commencement

Guest Lecture — 7 August 2025

A guest lecture was organized on contemporary educational issues and professional development, highlighting innovative teaching practices and the evolving role of teachers.

Independence Day — 15 August 2025

The 79th Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic songs, speeches, poems, cultural performances, flag unfurling, and reflections on democratic values and nation-building.

Commencement of B.Ed. Semester-I — 26 August 2025

The academic session for B.Ed. Semester-I officially commenced, marking the beginning of students’ professional journey in teacher education.

September 2025

Orientation & Literacy

Teacher’s Day — 5 September 2025

Teacher’s Day was celebrated to honour the contribution of teachers through speeches, cultural performances, presentations, and a seminar on contemporary educational challenges.

World Literacy Day — 8 September 2025

The programme emphasized literacy as a tool for empowerment, social development, equality, and educational outreach.

Orientation Programme for B.Ed.-I Students — 8–9 September 2025

The orientation programme familiarized students with institutional rules, curriculum structure, teaching methodologies, examination system, and professional ethics.

Regular Classes of B.Ed. Semester-I — 8 September 2025

Regular teaching-learning activities commenced. Houses were formulated, tutorial groups were created, house in-charges were nominated, and students were introduced to academic and co-curricular activities.

Hindi Day — 14 September 2025

Students participated in essay writing, poetry recitation, speech competitions, and literary discussions to promote respect for Hindi language and literary heritage.

International Peace Day — 30 September 2025

Discussions and presentations promoted harmony, tolerance, non-violence, mutual respect, and the role of education in fostering a culture of peace.

Founder’s Day — 1 October 2025

A spiritual programme was organized to promote moral values, ethical conduct, and inner peace.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan — 2 October 2025

Students and faculty participated in cleanliness drives and awareness campaigns focused on hygiene, sanitation, responsible waste management, and public health.

Rangoli Making Competition — 13 October 2025

Students showcased artistic creativity through colourful and innovative rangoli designs.

Teaching Practice Programme — Till 23 November 2025

Pupil teachers participated in teaching practice in schools, gaining practical classroom experience and professional competence.

New Punjab Day — 1 November 2025

The day was celebrated through cultural activities highlighting Punjabi heritage and traditions.

National Education Day — 11 November 2025

Lectures and discussions commemorated Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and highlighted the role of education in social transformation and national development.

House Tests — 17–26 November 2025

Internal assessments were conducted to evaluate students’ academic progress and learning outcomes.

Book Exhibition — 20 November 2025

A Book Exhibition was organized to encourage reading habits and academic enrichment.

Constitution Day — 26 November 2025

Faculty members discussed constitutional values, fundamental rights, duties, and democratic principles. Students participated in reading the Preamble.

Zonal Skill-in-Teaching Competition — 29 November 2025

Students demonstrated innovative teaching methodologies, communication skills, and classroom management abilities. Debate and poster-making activities were also conducted.

World AIDS Day — 1 December 2025

Awareness sessions were organized on HIV/AIDS transmission, prevention, treatment, stigma reduction, compassion, and preventive healthcare practices.

Human Rights Day — 10 December 2025

Seminars and discussions focused on equality, dignity, justice, freedom, inclusion, and social responsibility.

Theory Examination — 11 December 2025 to 3 January 2026

The Semester-I theory examinations were conducted smoothly and systematically.

The academic session 2025–2026 was highly productive and successful.
